When Mari wrote me about doing my Mama and Me photography package I was super excited because not only is she one of the greatest souls around, but she is also a mid-west kid and so we just click. We decided to do a lifestyle, a kind of Day-In-The-Life for the Brooks-Gilles. Mari and Jeff baked sugar cookies and frosted them just the way that Mari would have her cookies frosted as a child for her birthday. Then we went to North Cheyenne Canyon for a hike. *Disclaimer: She actually hikes each time in the shoes she wore! Mari and Jeff hike every weekend and have a favorite spot that wasn’t too crowded and we had a wonderful time. We finished up with a beer and root-beer at a favorite brewery in town. It was a wonderful afternoon and I can’t wait to meet their son and see them again!
